Studio R Interiors Hospitality Interior Design & Purchasing Our philosophy is simple-we design for our client’s market. Our firm is unique.

Studio R Interiors is a full service interior design and purchasing firm with expertise ranging from conceptual design to creation of full interior design documentation. We believe that spectacular projects are created when one understands both the desires of the guest and the goals of the operator. We have completed many projects over the course of our experience, each one with a regionally disti

nctive look for a variety of clients across the country. We believe hotels should reflect the unique aspects of their locale. It is our mission to create interiors that communicate the special flavor of each region to every guest. We feel that designing a project in budget from the conceptual phase is paramount to a projects success. We have established a process that includes compiling competitive bids from qualified vendors early in the design phase of a project. Our purchasing department operates under an open book policy. We collect and share product bids reflecting manufacturer’s pricing with owners. Together we determine the best vendors for each product taking into account price, lead time, performance of the vendor and proximity to the project site. Owners then purchase directly from the vendors at manufacturer’s cost. Studio R does not receive any compensation from the vendors. This method insures that the most appropriate product is selected for each project and that each project’s special features- the project’s design integrity- is held intact. We pride ourselves in utilizing our resources to create highly designed spaces within the project’s established budget. We are confident our process leads to successful projects.

2016 BOUTIQUE HOTEL OF THE YEAR
We are pleased to announce that Hotel Vandivort in Springfield Missouri has received the BLLA Award for 2016 Boutique Hotel of the Year. The Boutique and Lifestyle Lodging Association is a prominent worldwide organization in the luxury hospitality industry. According to the BLLA’s website:
“The BLLA Awards honors those prominent leaders and pioneers in the boutique & lifestyle hospitality sector that have made extraordinary contributions to their properties or organizations, both personally and professionally, and have earned the respect of the industry. Additionally, lodging properties and adjoining establishments will be recognized for their achievements showing excellence in design, service and other factors and who stand above the rest.”
The Hotel Vandivort project consisted of the conversion of a historic Masonic Temple to a Boutique Hotel and Restaurant. Studio R Interiors was responsible for interior design and purchasing. Our team was responsible for re-configuring the layouts of each of the interior spaces in order to create guestrooms, public areas and a restaurant in the historic space.
