I wasn’t able to make it in person to the private view at , but I’m very proud that one of my prints has made it onto the wall to sit beside other talented printmakers. And a big congratulations to fellow Fiona Wallin and for winners in their category. Super talented ladies.

And the tiger won the poll for the Explorers Against Extinction competition. Thanks to all who voted and helped me choose. It was almost as close as Brexit, with 60 for tiger and 40 for Penguins. Now I just have to cross my fingers and wait for the results 😬 to see if I’ve made it through to the final 100 this year.

It’s that time of year where I enter the Explorers Against Extinction competition. I’ve been doing for the last 4 years and each year the standards get better. This year I can’t decide between the tiger or the penguins!

A parade of penguins. I had a lot of experimentation with this print and lost about 50% of the prints, but sometimes you just have to push the boundaries and challenge the technique a bit. The process started with colograph print to get an ice texture background, then a multi coloured lino print ontop for the details.
