A parade of penguins. I had a lot of experimentation with this print and lost about 50% of the prints, but sometimes you just have to push the boundaries and challenge the technique a bit. The process started with colograph print to get an ice texture background, then a multi coloured lino print ontop for the details.

Bad weather for penguins, but nice to have an afternoon playing with print.
This print is all a bit experimental, playing with some collagraph printing for the background with linocut printing on top.

Isn’t this the kind of chair you just want to curl up in with a good book and a cup of tea and a sea view. One of my lovely customers was kind enough to share these pictures of her creation with my rock pool fabric and I think it looks fabulous.
