How to Survive a Weekend With No Money
1. Eat everything in the fridge before it becomes science.
2. Make coffee at home and pretend you’re financially responsible.
3. Go for a walk—free entertainment with questionable weather.
4. Watch a movie you’ve already paid for three times.
5. Rearrange the furniture and call it a renovation.
6. Host a potluck: everyone brings food and one emotional problem.
7. Bake something using ingredients you forgot existed.
8. Clean one drawer and celebrate like you bought a new house.
9. Wear the outfit currently buried under laundry.
10. Fix something you’ve been ignoring since 2023.
11. Read the book you bought six months ago.
12. Take a nap—it costs nothing and solves almost nothing.
13. Explore your neighborhood like a tourist with no budget.
14. Play board games and discover who has been secretly competitive.
15. Cancel plans and call it financial strategy.
16. Have a picnic using leftovers and confidence.
17. Delete shopping apps before they destroy your future.

After 12 years of sharing tips, human interest stories and bargains I am deactivating this page. FB/meta has changed the ability to share posts between pages without switching over. In the interest of better managing my social media time, this will be cut. Special thanks to all who liked my postings. Wishing you a peaceful and prosperous 2026. Sheryl
