Because we almost run out of "baseball" sunglasses again over Fish Days, I placed an emergency order for more athletic sunglasses. The first batch came in on Saturday and even more came in this morning. So right now we have large selection of really cool athletic sun glasses. And the best news is this new batch of sun glasses are still priced at only $5 a pair.

Some more knives also came in this morning as well. These are also now avaliable for sale.

Grammys hours are 10-5 Monday through Saturday and on Sunday. We are located on Main Street in Lake Andes, right across the street from Cahoys!

Father's Days is fast approaching. So how can Grammys help? First off, we already had a great selection of knives and we just got in a new shipment as well, so we have a great selection of knives.

Of course we also have a wide assortment of men's rings, lots and lots of men's rings. Then there is our selection of Hot Wheels. We have everything from vintage Redlines and Blackwalls to Treasure Hunts and Premiums.

Grammys is located on Main Stree in Lake Andes across thecstreet from Cahoys. Our hours are from 10-5 Monday thru Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday.

Yes, the building is very cute. Before we get to the what it is going to be, lets go over what it is NOT.

It is not going to be a tiny home or an AirB&B. It is not going an extention of the Antique shop, although the shop is too small, especially since the Floral Shop opened. It is not going to be a small craft shop/quilt shop, although that is a good idea that may be addressed later. Yes if you ask nicely, you might get a peek inside. No it won't help to figure out what is going on, at least not yet.

No I have not been given permission to let the cat out of the bag. And we don't have an opening date, at least not YET. But we are making some progress and hopefully the progress will start to accelerate.

As to what are we working on, here are some more "things" that have arrived. Maybe there is a clue for two in this this pile that will will help. Keep posting your guesses as to what this is going to be.

Before we left last week I was told I was out of "Baseball" glasses. Weird, because I didn't remember ordering any Baseball glasses. I did have some cool sport glasses though. And they were sold out.

So I ordered a new selection of "Baseball" glasses. They have arrived, there is a wider selection, there are a lot more of them, and they are still only $5. Baseball, softball, cycling, boating, or just looking cool driving around town, we have them. Of course we have a wide selection of other styles of sunglasses as well, so stop by this week.

There is a rumor that we might have a sidewalk event on Saturday. Never know what will turn up.

Well, the sweet old lady is back in town and now the work begins. She keeps saying she has a plan for that "cute little house, so the real question is what does the little old lady have in mind? Well, we can't say quite yet, but she says there is still a whole bunch of stuff that needs to get done. While the work gets started on the inside, things that we are going to need are starting to show up. We will probably be keeping the delivery guys busy for awhile

We have added a greenhouse and a flower shop so what could this next shop be? All I have been told is that it is not related to either of the other two additions. While the old lady was busy elsewhere, I snuck a few pictures of some of the stuff that has arrived for the new shop. Maybe these will help you figure out what she has up her sleeve.

By the way, asking the people down at the bank, or at the grocery store won't help, because they don't know anything either. But feel free to post your guesses and ideas in the replies.

One minute there was nothing, then suddenly it was there. Ok, nice building, kind of cute but what is it for? The Old Lady is not saying much. Just mumbling strange things to herself. "This goes here, that won't fit, need to do that, sweet, find someone for that, zsounds good, have to try that................" On and on mumbling under her breath.

Apparently, this is a "NEED TO KNOW" secret and way above my pay grade. There is a rumor of an announcement coming on June 2nd, and maybe a projected opening date? I guess we will just have to be patient until then.

It's done! The trees and brush are gone, the lot is level and the gravel is spread. Grammy is up to something, but what?...

It's done! The trees and brush are gone, the lot is level and the gravel is spread. Grammy is up to something, but what? We might get a hint sometime this week. You never know what might suddenly appear one morning.

We had a lot of fun yesterday watching the lot change from an overgrown mess to a finished pad. Now to figure out what is going there. We hope to be able to make that announcement on June 2nd.

While we await the official announcement, what is your guess as to what is going on. And will that be the last addition or is there possibly more to come. Only time will tell.

Another load of hanging baskets and bedding plants has arrived at Grandpa's Greenhouse. We just received several new varieties of bedding plants and some spectacular hanging baskets for your house and a new yellow tomato that looks interesting for the vegetable garden. I think even the Old Man might grow a few of these tomatoes this year.

Yesterday we received a single very beautiful combination basket with purple and white petunias and a off white daisy like flower. It was snapped up before we even got it out of the wrapper. It caused a bit of a stir over who got to take it home. Last light we managed to score a couple more of these stunners. Don't hesitate as these will go FAST.

Grandpa's Greenhouse and Grammmys Antiques and Floral Shop are located on Main Street in Lake Andes. Across the street from Cahoy's. We will open today at 9 am.
