Blue Crab Festival 🦀 💙
What a weekend at the Palatka Blue Crab Festival!

First and foremost, I want to thank the amazing people of Palatka for showing up and supporting Freedom2Gether. From the moment we arrived, so many locals stopped by, shared stories, admired our work, and made us feel genuinely welcome in their hometown. That kind of hospitality means more than you know.

This festival definitely tested everyone involved. We experienced blazing heat, humidity that could make you swim through the air, and torrential downpours that seemed determined to send us packing. But like so many vendors and visitors, we stuck it out and pushed through together. Those are often the events that create the best memories.

As with any event, there are always opportunities for growth. The booth fees felt a bit steep for vendors, and there are certainly some organizational improvements that could make the experience even better for everyone involved. But every event is a work in progress, and we all start somewhere. Growth comes from learning, adapting, and improving year after year.

Despite the challenges, the kindness of the community made this weekend worthwhile. My hope is to continue building a schedule of a handful of great festivals each year that truly align with the Freedom2Gether mission and family. Palatka just might earn a spot on that list.

Thank you again to everyone who stopped by, supported small business, and made us feel at home. We appreciate you, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

For Apollo's bedroom! I have been wanting to create something for him for a considerable time and have finally accomplished it. How did it turn out? I completed it on my day off.

It been a busy last week getting the
St. AUGUSTINE map ready for the featured Artist day.

Now, back to focusing on fulfilling
custom orders and preparing for the blue crab festival.

Creating art is rooted in emotion, and nothing compares to the magical moment when a customer sees their art piece for the very first time. This reaction, the smile, the pause, the feeling, is everything. It’s a reminder of why I started this journey: bringing vision to life through precision laser engraving and heartfelt design. Seeing a customer’s face light up sparks joy within me. In this line of work, every unveiling isn’t just a delivery, it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and meaning.
This Saturday, the 11th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., I’ll be a featured artist at the Anchored Studio Gallery on St. George Street in St. Augustine.
