Her popular lifestyle blog greige introduced Christina Fluegge to a nationwide readership, but her talents expand far beyond sharing inspiring photographs and musings. After years working with furniture and bedding manufacturer and a California Interior Design firm, she launched Fluegge Interior Design. Its Greige Design division is dedicated to providing clients with a more collaborative process that recognized the continuous nature of creating a home. Because the Dahlias need a moment and I cannot believe October is almost over. We haven’t had a freeze in Franklin yet so these beauties keep on coming, even when I am already planning for next years varieties and getting ready for the fall clean up. I am not sure we are quite ready here for the quick start of the holiday season but it’s moving full steam ahead with or without us.

On a side note - I am wrapping up the details for our start to the book club over on Substack • aptly named The Design Library. Where we can dig into all the things we love about our favorite Design and Garden books. I hope you will join us! It should be up and running by the first part of next week.

Happy October! 🍂

I am so excited to get started on this whole “fall” thing 🍁 just over here thinking of ways to get out and enjoy this cooler weather and maybe have our first fire of the season. The pumpkins are starting to accumulate inside and outside of the house and I am very happy about that too! I was just going back through my images from fall trips last year and the John Derian Company display in New York was perfection, maybe a good place to start for this years inspiration.
