Three bathrooms, one busy week! 🛁

Who says you need a complete renovation to make a big impact?

This week was all about giving THREE bathrooms a little personality with fresh wallpaper and a few thoughtful updates!

Sometimes it's not about tearing everything out and starting over. It's about recognizing what a space needs and making just the right changes to give it a whole new look.

And you know me… I'll never pass up an opportunity to use a fabulous wallpaper!

Your home should be as unique as you are.

So… what did I do with a month off?

For the first time in a very long time, I gave myself permission to really slow down. No big agenda. No list of things I should accomplish. Just a little time to reset.

And you know what? It was pretty wonderful.

My month looked something like this:
• Read a book—something I never seem to make enough time for
• Walked 3 miles every single day
• Enjoyed slow mornings without rushing out the door
• Spent time at home and appreciated the little things I normally fly right past
• Made time for family and friends
• Took plenty of walks in nature
• And, probably most importantly, gave myself some space to just be!

When you own your own business, it can be really hard to turn it off. There is always something you could be doing.

But after nearly 20 years in business, I’m finally realizing that taking time away isn’t doing nothing. Sometimes it’s exactly what you need to come back excited, inspired and ready for what’s next.

And I have to say…I highly recommend it.

This little Door County cottage is getting some much-needed TLC—a complete remodel of the primary bath.

Our client has MS, so we’re thoughtfully redesigning the space to be fully accessible while still feeling beautiful and comfortable in this tiny space.

The goal is simple: to make sure she can fully enjoy her summer home, with as few barriers as possible.

Because good design should make life easier—and never make you feel limited by your surroundings.

Animal print in an entryway? Absolutely.

There’s something undeniably chic about a touch of animal print—especially in an entryway. Whether it’s a leopard runner, a zebra-patterned rug, or even a small upholstered bench, it adds personality and just the right amount of unexpected.
The key is to treat animal print almost like a neutral. Pair it with classic furnishings, beautiful lighting, and pieces you love, and it feels sophisticated rather than overdone.
And because your entryway is the first impression of your home, why not give your guests a little hint that there’s more personality to come?

A little wild can be very chic.

There are moments in business that truly stop you in your tracks… and receiving heartfelt reviews from my clients is one of them.

I never take for granted the trust people place in me to help shape the spaces where life happens. Every kind word, referral, and glowing review reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

Design has never just been about beautiful homes for me. It’s about creating spaces that feel personal, meaningful, and uniquely reflective of the people living in them.

This is why I do what I do!

True luxury isn’t just how a space looks—it’s how thoughtfully it’s created.

On Earth Day, I’m reminded that the most beautiful homes are designed with intention… choosing materials that last, investing in quality over quantity, and creating spaces that evolve with you over time.

Sustainability, in its truest form, is timeless design.

Your home should be as unique as you are—crafted not only for today, but for years to come.
