You want a real mind blower? The book of Revelation was written during the first century and predicted what has happened and what's happening now. Want an even bigger mind blower? The book of Daniel was written around 164 BC and predicted what has happened and what is happening. Now, hold on to your hats folks, because the book of Isaiah was written nearly 800 years before Jesus came and predicted the events of his birth all the way to his death and resurrection down to the day. If you want to be prepared for the challenges of the day, I'd say read a book that is "a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the time of other eyewitnesses, reporting supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claimed their writings are Divine and not of human origin" -Voddie Baucham. It's not just "religion" as much as the ultimate handbook for navigating the difficulties today. Read the Bible, if for no other reason than curiosity about what has happened and what is to come.
