Great Question! Wisconsin winters are no joke. Snow and ice can block your egress window well and even damage the frame if left unchecked.

What to do: 🤔
• Regularly clear snow buildup from your window well- this is a good reason why it is important to have a cover!
• Gently remove ice with a plastic shovel—avoid metal tools
• Check that the window opens freely in case of emergency
