I started crocheting 5 years ago and love making people things! Instead of starting a business, I made this into a mission project through my church. In addition to loving working with kids, I also have a passion for missions and making a difference globally. Went on a side quest instead of doing my to-do list of things that bum me out. Candy corn is delicious, but orange is the worst color on the planet so.....I improved a good thing 😂

Anyone else need a twisted candy corn garland? I think I am putting this in an obnoxious location in my classroom...a side quest for a different day.

I started this thing of making stuff for my dance studio students....and decided to get my life together to do it for Halloween instead of the end of the year. Lots of food allergies so it's a bonus to do a Halloween goody that is not food related!

Should I make them bats or God's candy.....candy corn? 😂

P.s. if you want some non-candy Halloween options this year....hit me up! I have so much time for disassociating through crafting.

Definitely wasn't binge watching the Jurassic Park movies in order while making these....that would be weird.😂

Jurassic Park was the first PG-13 movie I watched and I did it without parental permission in the basement while my parents and all their small group Bible study friends were upstairs doing actual Bible study and they sent all the kids to the basement so we wouldn't annoy them. 😂😂😂I was traumatized and I never watched another PG13 movie without permission again 😂.

First day of year 9. In anxiety filled crafting on Monday afternoon, I taught myself how to make lanyards so I can change my lanyard daily to clash with whatever I am wearing. It will be part of my "no repeat outfit" work year 😂. Please enjoy this photographic evidence that I dressed like an almost normal person for at least one day....and my hair even stayed down until lunch 🤯 a child that I have taught for 8 years introduced me to a new student and said I have an "abstract personality" but that "you get used it as long as don't mind being blinded by color." I both love and hate this 😂.

A little something about me....I'm a terrible person.😂

At a rehearsal I was not called to, a bat started flying around inside the theater. I think this is insanely hilarious, I re-read the email five times and couldn't stop laughing, although everyone there was probably traumatized.

So I'm obviously making bats for the production team. What other colors should I use?🤔I obviously can't use actual normal bat colors because .....it's not who I am. 😂
