Luxury is in the details. ✨

It’s not always about adding more. Sometimes, it’s simply about knowing how to style what you already have.

When styling a tray on an ottoman, try angling it rather than centering it perfectly straight. That subtle shift creates visual interest, adds dimension, and makes the entire arrangement feel more curated and intentional.

These are the small, thoughtful decisions that distinguish a beautifully designed home from one that simply looks decorated. 🤍

A little imagination. A whole lot of purpose. ✨

What was once a home office is now a beautifully designed butler’s pantry, offering additional kitchen storage, thoughtful organization, and a cozy little reading nook for the family’s daughter. 🤍

Because great design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about creating a home that works beautifully for the people who live in it.

Who says one room can’t do it all 😉?

Don’t do this to yourself. 😂

A renovation sounds exciting… until you realize just how many decisions go into making it all work together.

Layout. Cabinetry. Countertops. Tile. Lighting. Plumbing. Hardware. Paint. Flooring. Furniture. And somehow, every decision affects the next one. 😅

Could you make all of those decisions yourself? Sure.

Do you really want to? Do you even have TIME to?

That’s where a designer comes in. We help you create the plan, make the decisions, coordinate the details, and make sure everything works together before you start spending money on the wrong things.

So save yourself from conversations like these. 😂

Hire the designer.

The best storage is the kind you’d never know was there!

For this Lake Orion lake home, entertaining is a big part of their life—which meant the design needed to make hosting easier, too.

Behind this custom entertainment center, we created a hidden storage area specifically sized to hold up to four folding tables. Two tables fit side-by-side in each section, giving the homeowners an easy place to grab an extra table when guests arrive—and put it away just as easily when the party’s over.

No hauling tables through the house from the garage.

No sacrificing the look of the room for practical storage.

Just thoughtful design that works beautifully behind the scenes.

Because sometimes the smartest design features are the ones you never see 😉!

Crooked pictures are one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. 😂

Here’s my easy fix: grab some WHITE (not blue) teacher’s putty, add a tiny bit behind the bottom two corners, press it into the wall, and voilà—the picture stays exactly where it belongs. 👌🏼

And yes… USE A LEVEL.
“Do as I say, not as I do.” 😅😇

It’s the little finishing touches like this that make a space feel polished and intentional—and we can’t wait to add all the final details to this home!

Want more designer tips that actually make a difference? Follow along & drop a 👀 in the comments if crooked pictures drive you crazy too. 🤪

The finishing touches truly turn a house into a home.
And the best details?
Sometimes they’re hidden 🤫

This stunning Michigan lake home is part of a complete first-floor transformation we can’t wait to share!

One of my favorite details in this living space?

The custom hidden storage behind the entertainment center, designed to tuck away foldable tables for quick and easy access when the house is full of family and friends.

Anyone interested in seeing where we built that and what it looks like 😍?

Keep following along - we have so many more before & afters from this Lake Orion home coming soon. 🤎
