It is April First. Here is your reminder to . The hashtag is meant to remind you to feel your breasts/pecs for cancer. But really you should feel up and down your body once a month. Notice moles and lumps. A change in texture or even countenance. Talk to your doc about anything that makes you go hmmmmm. Take an interest and care for the body that allows you to laugh, hug, enjoy a sunset. I wrote this book after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of the pandemic. It is a collection of my journal drawings and entries… things that helped me most. It gets all the stars when people read it.

Have had some blah days. Received the kindest review of my book, “Going on a Cancer Hunt” Totally righted the ship. PATIENT LOVES! This is the Fabriano paper stretched on the canvas frame and hand inked with a custom blend of light sensitive ink/cyanotype ink. I ripped up the old art on this frame a few posts? Reels? Whatever’s? Back. The hollyhock is from my grandmother’s farm sent to me by my cousins Jared and his wife Daysha. The root of this plant is 60 plus years old and grows well over 14 feet tall in the heat of summer and is stuffed with memories and bees in its blossoms and it makes me very happy. As always looking for the light, line and time and the imperfection that’s beautifully human. not on site yet
