NSF - Quick run into a local thrift on Sunday, ok so I can’t stay outta trouble while Sharyn’s away! I found fabulous flamenco dancers fancied up with fabric and embroidery and custom framed with a linen mat. Total intention was to bring it to market…

So I had it in the cottage, leaning on a chair, waiting to be cleaned. But it kept speaking to me and the perfect place popped into my head. There wasn’t a chance in HADES (or the So Florida heat) that this beauty was leaving once she got here.

So I took down a few of my late husband’s hats and a sea glass frame I had made and handpainted. Now I can enjoy her while I work in the kitchen or sit in the couch!

Yes, it was a heart-pounding moment finding this trio of nativity blow molds at my all-time fave Goodwill. We tend to do more of our sourcing at estate sales, but pickers will pick. So when another Saturday market was a bust, we were too close to not check it out.

After spending time combing through and each finding a full large bag of clothes, we proceeded to head to housewares.

Looking up, lo and behold, there were Mary and Joseph looking down on shoppers from above. Rushing to the back shelf, of course the panic set in! It was a busy Saturday morning. Did anyone else know what these are? And wait, where’s baby Jesus? Quickly scanning the shelves, the missing child was quickly noticed two shelving units down.

Crisis averted and the family is all resting comfortably! Would you have rescues this vintage Christmas decorations? Love to hear your thoughts!
