A little work-life update as we head into the New Year (yes, I know… fashionably late).

Late last year, I made the decision to close our downtown Lakeville design studio. Before you jump to conclusions - The Divine Living Space is still very much in business and designing fun, character-filled homes all around the Twin Cities.

Truth be told, this was about simplifying life. Bringing the studio back home felt like the right move for this season, allowing more focus, flexibility, and creative energy where it matters most.

Don’t worry - I’ll still be hanging around downtown Lakeville and frequenting my favorite coffee spot (looking at you, ☕️), so I’ll definitely still see many of you around.

The New Year has already brought several exciting new projects, and I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride. To think this little dream- born around a kitchen table with a friend - has turned into a business that’s still going strong 23 years later is something I’ll never take for granted - especially when so many people once told me it wasn’t sustainable.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for trusting me with your homes. Truly- this dream wouldn’t exist without you. 🤍

Let’s hear it for the color GREEN!! This project is a throwback, but whenever I post it, it resonates with someone because SO many people have wood cabinets they don’t want to paint and feel like they are stuck. This is a brand new kitchen, but it could easily translate into a 90’s one with the right color wood. Never be afraid to think outside the box. Not every room needs a white subway tile 😂
