Good morning! This is a really honest post . Last year, I hit an instagram wall when it came to my business. I found it became a chore. I questioned every post and worried about it all. (Did I use the most compelling language? Did I tag all the right vendors? Did I crop each photo just right? Are my photos as good as all of the other amazing designer posts? Is everyone judging me? Am I good enough? ). With everything else I have to manage as a business owner, it just was too much. I took a break and realize that I can’t worry about all of that. My focus on doing every post “perfectly” took every ounce of fun out of it for me. This photo was taken yesterday on a project and it’s our reality. Sitting on the floor, getting dirty, fabric samples everywhere, making decisions and editing to find the perfect options. No color correcting, no cropping, no tagging or finding the most compelling hashtags……... Just real life as an interior designer. Thank you for catching this moment and for giving us the opportunity to work on this with you !

After following so many fellow stationary junkies on instagram, i finally did my own NYC stationary store crawl yesterday. It was So much fun!!!! I got a great haul of goodies to add to my overflowing collection of art and stationary supplies.

As a small business owner, social media seems to be the thing that falls off my to do list. This morning I am headed to the vet with 2 labs and have some time while I am waiting so here is a post!!! This is a primary bedroom at a project that started way back during the pandemic. We love our clients and how it turned out!! I slipped in a puppy photo too for fun😜🐶😘.

Well Instagram, we have fallen off the face of the earth over the last few months but we missed you. Life has been busy and we’ve been managing quite a few projects. Just jumping back in to say hello. It happens to be a terribly cold rainy day in the northeast.- so we decided to post something that reminded us of summer!!!!
