Thanks to all the recent rain, Lake Travis is back up to 90% capacity—and the views from this living room just got even better.

We designed this space to take full advantage of that lakefront view, with big windows, cozy layers, and seating that invites you to stay a while. It’s a mix of comfort and function—perfect for our retired client who wanted her home to feel like a cozy retreat.

Deeply personal projects are always so fulfilling. Our client’s request and challenge: how to incorporate her late mother’s personal artwork alongside decades of sailing trophies and memorabilia from a lifetime of competitive sailing...Hmm, we embraced the opportunity to get creative—repurposing items in unexpected ways and curating every corner to tell her story. (Hint: a few sailing trophies found their way into candleholders, a silver moss tray and even a bourbon decanter!) By blending her love for nautical details, weathered woods, natural stones, and earthy, organic textures, we created an interior that is both playful and grounded—full of soul, warmth, and personal history.
