Check out this wild vintage medically prepped human skull! As odd looking as it may be, that seemingly out of place giant piece of metal serves a purpose. This teaching skull was specially designed to help medical students studying cranioplasty, the procedure of repairing a damaged skull by surgically affixing a cranial implate to the patient. Thankfully, you don't need to be a literal brain surgeon to appreciate the beauty and the history attached to it. Head over, we're open 12-6pm...🔩💀

Who doesn't love the enticing combination of shiny, sharp, and historically special? This ornate vintage blade doesn't just look impressive, it is also a gorgeous example of the unique Gaucho culture. Since roughly the 1800's, Gauchos have roamed South America, and have many similarities with both the nomadic Mongolian tribes and our very own western cowboys. Cattle played an integral role in their daily rural lives, as did large communal meals, where beautiful knives such as this would be used for both utility and status. This blade and original sheath is adorned with sterling silver and intricate details like the sweet cow's head. You can't possibly be grouchy with a Gaucho knife in hand, so stop by to see this in person! We're here 12-6pm today and 12-5pm on Sunday…🗡️

Though it's rainy, the most dedicated of fishermen are still trying to get their last catch of the year before Labor Day. However, the rest of us are ready to enjoy the three day weekend and hoping to be just as relaxed as the weird squiggly fellow on this vintage bait box. This nifty worm room has survived over time and maintained its whimsical graphics, making it perfect for display almost anywhere. This time, being two faced is a positive! We've been busy adding awesome antique and vintage medical models, tools, and more to the floor. One of our favorites is this amazing antique bisected teaching head! Unfortunately, others loved it as much as we did and went as soon as we put it out, but we still couldn't keep ourselves from showcasing this gorgeous piece. But don't worry, there are still so many other medical treasures to be found on our shelves, so stop in to see them all in person! We're open 12-6pm…🧠

so she saved his tail, wrapped in ribbons and in braids, to hold his memory in a very loving way" - this passage from Miska Paget's 'The Best Horses in Heaven, They Have No Tail' demonstrates the close bond between horses and the people who love them. This is the first time we've had a horse's tail or forlock in the store, and its massive size is only bested by its beauty. Lovingly preserved by its owner, this vintage set is a fantastic take on memorials and hair art. Trot in today to pay your respects, or just to say hi, we're here till 6pm...🐴💐
