2 Confessions: 1) I haven’t been “feeling” the furniture painting vibe for a year or so. Furniture hasn’t been selling as often. I felt like there was no more left to give. Every bit of furniture creativity had already been done. 2) I bought this piece already painted. For the first time ever, I was just going to put it in the shop. The easy route. Resell it. Fill a space. Someone else did the work. BUT! Yesterday’s video with so many of our past pieces truly inspired me. Wow! We have really created and reloved and made one of a kind pieces with a very unique ShRuB flare. Pieces that aren’t just rolled out, slapped together, and thrown on the shoppe floor. Heart. Imagination. Natural elements. Vintage vibes. Really getting to “know” every curve, texture, and imperfection of the past. Sooooo…I stepped back. I took a few hours. I avoided my crazy ASS always ringing non-stop phone. I worked in the lawn. With the sun. And the birds. And small town lake vibes. It was necessary for the soul. Take that moment that soothes your soul. Stay tuned…
