A kitchen like this doesn’t just look good, it adds real value to your home. But the best part, you can enjoy it every single day. If your kitchen is frustrating, outdated or just not “you”, let’s fix that. At TLD-interiors, I design spaces that feel good now and pay off later. DM me to get started.

This project was special. A friend asked me to help refresh her late father’s rental so it could be listed, and giving this kitchen a clean, modern reset felt like the right way to honor the home’s history.
We brought in a lighter palette, updated finishes, and a more streamlined look to help the space feel bright, welcoming and ready for its next chapter.

Thinking about remodeling your kitchen? A good design tip would be to start with the layout, not the finishes.I see homeowners get excited about cabinets, countertops and colors before they've figured out whether their kitchen actually functions the way they need it to.

Before choosing finishes, ask yourself:
Do I have enough storage?
Does the current layout make sense?
Are my appliances where I want them?
Is the island the right size?
What frustrates me about the kitchen I have now?

Those decisions will have a much bigger impact on your finished kitchen than the color of the cabinets.

After 28+ years in kitchen design, this is one of the biggest things I encourage homeowners to think about before they start shopping.

If you're considering a kitchen remodel but don't know where to begin, that's exactly what a kitchen design consultation is for.

Lighting is the quickest way to elevate room and this pendant nails the balance. Matt black grounds the space, while the warm metallic interior reflects a cozy, flattering glow. Modern design that still feels lived in. Would you use this pendant?

Herringbone brings movement and a more elevated custom feel to your kitchen backsplash. The pattern alone changes the whole vibe. Which one feels more like your style?

Brick layout is the classic layout for a reason. The staggered joints create a soft, easy flow that makes a kitchen feel wider and more relaxed. It’s timeless, forgiving and works with almost any style, especially when the tile has a little texture or sheen. Do you prefer the classic brick layout or the clean grid I shared earlier?
