My business closed just before the pandemic so instead of trying to find interesting, wonderful and well made objects to sell, I now like sharing photos that I find on the internet of beautiful things. Most of these incredible objects can be found or belong in museums - The best of the best that I may never get to see in person. I really appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship and imagination that went into creating them and I hope you enjoy seeing them too!

The beauty of old books.

"J & L Lobmeyr Pink Champagne Glass, circa 1900, nearly impossible to locate today. I don't think a more beautiful Glass form exists.
I recently located 6 glasses that I will pair with my Franciscan Desert Rose dishes. Mine are good reproductions, and trust me, there IS a difference. Finding the originals is a true treasure hunt! Keep your eyes on the lookout for a very rare find.
In 1823, Josef Lobmeyr Sr. founded the company on Weihburggasse in Vienna. His shop, which he ran together with his wife Aloisia, featured a broad array of typical Biedermeier-era glassware and, after 1840, also chandeliers. Josef increasingly began to manufacture his own designs, and soon began supplying the imperial House of Habsburg."

A beautiful work made in one piece of marble by Monica Angel Rain, one of the world famous names of hyper-realistic sculpture. This beautiful work can be seen in the Sheung Yiu Folk Museum
