A large, beautiful 7 drawer dresser, crafted by Broyhill Furniture, is ready for its new home. A solid wood construction piece that is sure to become the focal point of any room. To give it a pottery barn style look, I applied two different colors of gel stain to add depth and texture. I also added all new satin black drawer pulls for a more modern look. The versatility of this dresser is truly exceptional- an ideal fit for multiple decor styles like French country, cottage, or even coastal. All drawers function flawlessly. Measurements are 60” long, 19” deep, and 33” tall.

A beautiful black walnut wood dresser once covered with coats and coats of white paint, now ready to turn heads with its beautiful wood grain! This piece tested my patience to say the least. I spent well over 10 hours sanding and used so many products and tools to restore it to its original state. A true labor of love! Once all the old paint was removed, I used a dark walnut wood gel stain for a moody yet modern look. I also added all new solid brass pulls to really give it a classy look. Despite only having four drawers, this dresser offers tons of storage. The drawers are deep and wide and all work perfectly for its age! This piece is sure to be a focal point in ANY room and a guaranteed family heirloom. Measurements are 50” long, 23” deep, and 34.5” tall. 🤎

Progress Update:

I’m never fully refinishing a piece ever again. 🙃
The products I’ve used so far have been 2 quarts of high quality paint stripper, 2 quarts of acetone, 1 whole pack of 80 grit sandpaper, I new carbide paint stripping blade, 1 new wire brush, 1 putty scraper, at least 7 pairs of gloves, 10 hours of labor, and last (but certainly not least)….my sanity 🤣. And I’m only 3/4 finished with the body of the dresser!! However, I truly cannot wait to see how this piece turns out! This definitely won’t be my usual budget friendly piece, but it will be a show-stopping family heirloom once I’m finished! 🤎
