Stroll downtown to watch local artists paint al fresco for our annual Paint the City event next Saturday, June 21st from 11:00-3:00pm! The play of light and shadow on urban facades offer endless inspiration for our artists to create. The sounds of the city – traffic, chatter, and the occasional street musician add to the ambiance. Check out this year's line up:

Matt Allyn Chapman will be set up beside curio. working with some of his favorite materials- pen, ink, and watercolor! Ask questions and have conversations with him as he creates.

🎨 Freiman Stoltzfus Gallery
Guest artist Olivia Stoltzfus, a painter and textile designer from Lancaster, will be creating art live outside our gallery. Watch as Olivia brings her unique vision to life using the traditional technique of egg tempera. Don’t miss this opportunity to see creativity in action and connect with the local arts community!

Resident Artist Kristin Witbeck Lee and friends will be painting plein air oils and portraits live on site. We’re also thrilled to welcome Guest Artists Suzanne Bartlett and Jane deGruchy, who will be adding vibrant touches in acrylics and watercolors. Resident Artist and photographer Bronwen Hazlett will be capturing the magic through her lens as she documents the spirit and scenes of our beautiful city.

Many artists will be out front of Gallery Row including Clay artist Sheri Bare creating her whimsical creatures, Jerry Brown painting the city in watercolor, Christine Mercer-Vernon painting flowers onsite in oil and Michelle Spiziri designing her creatures with clay!

Emily Keener will be sharing her layered painting process, with opportunities for visitors to paint alongside her and explore the techniques yourself.
