Friends and family, I would like to welcome you to a new chapter in my life, a page for my business! It may seem like a small step for most, but it has been years in the making...
My husband renovates and sells homes for a living. He often finds that previous tenants leave behind unwanted items, which he brings home to store in our barn. After years of watching my husband bring home peopl

e's junk (doors, desks, chairs, ext.,) I started going through the graveyard of broken chairs and battered furniture and found that I could turn these unwanted items into something beautiful. I started by restoring these items for my own home, and soon found that friends and family loved what I was creating and encouraged me to use my talents to open my own shop. After two years of selling my creations by word-of-mouth, I am ready to take a step of faith and begin a new adventure. Thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me along the way. We have lots of vintage items/furniture to freshen up your home including lots of houseplants that my wonderful daughter in law propagated from her collection! I’m baaack!! After a long time away I wanted to let you I am back on a limited basis. I have to say I missed getting grubby and rooting for treasures and of course I missed you all ! 😍I will post items from time to time as I get things! Covid has definitely limited our finds but we recently had a house clean out which yielded some amazing goodies that I want to share with you! Also this weekend is our neighborhood yard sale and I will be open! Today from 5-8 ( but it starts way before that) and tomorrow the 22nd from 7-1. I know, you are probably thinking I have “fallen off the face of the earth”, I can understand why, it’s been a loong while since I posted! I have had some major changes going on, some distractions that have made me reevaluate my small business and where it is going. At this stage of our lives Dave and I have decided to not have anymore sales but instead take our items to an auction. However, we will be having our yearly huge neighborhood yard sale which we will be participating in. It will be a year to year decision if we will be joining! This years is this Friday 5-8 and Sat 7-12! I will have some items you haven’t seen ( if you are a regular) and good prices! I will definitely miss interacting with you all and talking about your vintage finds and treasures. I am so grateful for your support over the years. If you are driving by please stop in and say hello and I still plan on treasure hunting so you can still browse and root around 😁

Can you believe one week from today is Christmas eve, phew? 🎅 . If you are still looking for that unique or personal gift for hubby or Dad i may have what you're looking for, especially if they are/were a car mechanic or a woodworking guy!! I love how this car creeper was repurposed into this hat rack (3 iron hooks) and these antique wood clamps can be used as pic frames. Perfect for a man cave 😃 creeper is $40 and lrg clamp $15 and sm 12. CLAMPS ARE SOLD!

Here are a few things left from my sale that may interest you if you are looking for that unique gift! The chicken feeder ( has wood feet) is $18 and 28 with the decorations. The live edge wood trays have feet and can be used multiple ways as you can see! I have 4 assorted sizes from 22 - 27" long and aporox 8-9" wide. They are $ 12. Message me for appt if you want to stop by! The feeder and wood trays are all SOLD!

Small sampling of the things that will be for sale tomorrow. I simply love these vintage cardboard " putz" houses we found in an attic. In case you never heard of the word putz, " it's, German for putting or placing things together to create a scene." There you go!! Oak table ( few scratches) $35, putz houses $ 3 or all 8 for $20. Metal shelf w/ live edge wood $ 55. Wood box 18 and sm box 10. So much more so i hope to see tomorrow, 9 - 12. For those of you 1st timers dress warm as barn is not heated and a lot of treasures are outside!

I have had a lot of interest the last few days so guess what? I am going to be open this Saturday morning from 9-12. I know the weather is iffy, hoping it will wait until the afternoon but if not I will still be here and everything will be under a roof. Come check out my " new" vintage finds and also some Christmas decorations, lots of containers/wooden boxes for greens! 🌲

I'm baaack!!! Its been around 3 months of a much needed break and also just haven't been able to find the good treasures until recently. I was able to rummage in a nearby barn and attic so pretty excited to be able to show you some of the goodies!! No better time than Christmas to help you in your decorating. 🌲Love this very old barn door that will show off your wreath (not included) beautifully, also would make a great headboard or back drop behind a dresser or buffet. It measures 43" w , 79" high. Take note of the old rusty hinges!!! $ 48. SOLD! Rocking chair $30 , blue stool $15 sold

It is soon " go time" on Millwood Rd! We are just about set up and ready to roll, hoping the weather cooperates! Times are 5-8 today and 7-1 on Saturday! I will do my best to keep to those hours but we have already been shooing people away 😃. For those who don't know it is also our huge neighborhood garage sale. P.S. I may not be able to respond if you have a price question as it gets crazy, I'll do my best!!

Coming up on another SALE, friends! Just 3 days to go and, boy, are we busy finishing up projects :)
I got a bit sidetracked at a greenhouse this morning, finding a few flowers and these pretty succulents still thriving. Now for the fun of finding fun little containers to make their home! I have one wooden barn vent (for sale starting this weekend) that has a back perfect for potting. ($35)
The sale will be Friday evening from 5-8 and Saturday 7-1. Hope to see you there!

Anyone else have great memories of these beautifully dainty hankies? My sweet Grandma Landis almost always had one in her hand or the sleeve of her dress, so the nostalgia is real! I have the 8 shown in the photos, as well as 8 others (more plain with a colored border). Aside from a few yellowing spots from age(unnoticeable), they’re in good shape. Great for projects—sew them together as a valance, banner, table runner, etc! The possibilities are endless.
$2 for larges, $1.50 smalls, or get four of them for $7
This telephone bench—or, as some called it, conversation bench—takes us back to the days of landlines, pre-cordless phones. The piece shows it’s age; you can see how the veneer was coming off and needed repair, but that makes it even better, I think. It’s sturdy and will be a conversation piece in any room... no pun intended ;) $35

Where is my head these days🤔, forgot to mention in my last post that the gray bench is for sale! I actually have 2 of them, in their former life they were used in a kitchen nook! They measure 42" x 15.5" and are 17" from ground to the seat! $45 a piece or 2 for $80.
