Dear Friends and Customers,
It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news that my mom, the woman who started this little shop 50 years ago, went to Heaven Thursday evening.
For 50 years, this shop has been such a big part of our family and our lives. What started with my mom’s vision became so much more than a business. It became a place where she could do what she loved—decorate, create beautiful displays, find special things for the shop, and most of all, talk to people.
My mom loved our customers. She loved hearing your stories, catching up with you when you came in, and making you feel welcome. So many of you weren’t just customers to her—you became friends.
The past two weeks have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I want to thank everyone who has reached out, prayed for my mom, checked on us, and continued to support the shop. Your kindness has meant more than I can say.
As we move forward, I know there will be a lot of emotions. This shop is a huge part of my mom’s legacy, and I feel incredibly honored to continue what she started 50 years ago. I know she would want us to keep decorating, creating, welcoming people through the doors, and most importantly, continuing to make this a place where people feel at home.
Thank you for being part of our story for the past 50 years—and for being part of my mom’s story.
