It is a time of great hope and joy, yet great sadness and anger, in American history. On Jan 6th 2021, Pastor Raphael Warnock was celebrating an absolutely historic win to become Georgia’s FIRST African American US Senator. On this same day, a mob of white supremacist radicals, alongside other extremist right wing factions, stormed the United States Capitol Building: killing and looting, and attacking our Constitution along the way.
And so MLK’s words ring just as true and his message just as vital, today. For even as our country makes monumental strides towards peace and harmony within... The heart of darkness never rests. Thus, we must remain vigilant to hold onto Love and Hope in our hearts. So that we may forever pull our nation closer to the realization of MLK’s Great Dream.
