Oak Cliff Carpet

10/01/2026

So today was the end of the road for OC Rug Co.

We ceased operations under that banner on Saturday, and today we officially moved out of the place we called home for 16 years.

It’s easy to be sad today—and we are. Sixteen years is a long time. But while the OC Rug path ends here, it’s also the path that led us to our next chapter: The Oak Cliff Carpet Company, opening later this month.

To everyone who supported OC Rug over the years, thank you. You were truly the best customer base a small business could ever ask for. You trusted us with your homes, your businesses, your crazy rug ideas, and sometimes just stopped by to say hello. You made those 16 years possible.

And I’m going to ask for something I’ve never really asked for before.

Would you leave a comment below and tell us about your experience with OC Rug?

A memory, a rug we made for you, carpet we installed, a funny story, or just what OC Rug meant to you. We’d really love to hear it.

We’re feeling a little melancholy about this ending, and quite frankly, we could use a pep talk from the world’s best customers.

Thank you for 16 incredible years.

OC Rug Co. has reached the end of the road.

But we’ll see you in a few weeks in Oak Cliff. ❤️

The next chapter is about to begin.

🚨 CARPET LIQUIDATION — IT ALL HAS TO GO! 🚨

After 16 years, OC Rug is closing this Saturday, and I still have about 75 carpet rolls that need new homes!

🔥 ONLY 45¢ PER SQUARE FOOT! 🔥

Roll sizes range from approximately 12' x 12' all the way up to 12' x 40'.

That means:
12' x 12' = $64.80
12' x 20' = $108
12' x 30' = $162
12' x 40' = $216

Great for bedrooms, rentals, offices, churches, DIY projects—or anybody who just wants a crazy deal on carpet.

When Saturday comes, we're DONE.
About 75 rolls left — first come, first served!

Come help me empty this place so I don't have to figure out what to do with 75 rolls of carpet! 😂
