Tiled this fireplace in a 60s Modern split level in Manor Township, Lancaster County, PA. The existing wood-burning fireplace was damaged and dirty and not very attractive. Thanks Jim Kendall and Gregory Snyder for the opportunity to be involved in this very cool renovation project.

This was my floor refinishing project in Lititz, PA this past fall. We sanded and stained the 1920s yellow pine floors with a custom mixed color…or 2…or 3. The floor had been patched before at several different points and then was patched again during these renovations with new material, so the challenge was to get everything to match as best as possible without taking a week to apply layers of stain. Thanks Tim and Marcy Diem.

These yellow pine floors in this cottage were in really rough shape. The grey areas were literally black from decades of water damage. We were able to remove about 75% of the stains. Thanks Bill Grace and Jim Hadfield for the opportunity to work on your project. (The large grey stripe is a shadow from an overhead collar tie.)

Last year during college winter break I refinished the badly damaged Entry Hall floor and stairs of this student housing building on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA for the Project Architect and G.C., Suzan Matos Design Construct. This project included patching the rotted random-width pegged red oak flooring at the entrance, replacing about 30 of the pegs, sanding, staining, and applying a fast-curing commercial water-based polyurethane in a breakneck timeframe.

I refinished the floors in this 1830s farmhouse renovation in Wrightsville, PA. The Living Room floors were oak veneer installed in the 1920s or 30s, and the rest of the house had badly cupped and warped pine floors. I did not do the patching, some of which was done decades ago.
