It is not the best video below, but we enjoyed stopping to watch the hummingbird moth. They are so fast and graceful.

Did you know???
Before it becomes a moth, a hummingbird moth is a caterpillar, specifically a type of hornworm.
Appearance: They have stout, fuzzy bodies, clear or semi-transparent wings, and a tufted tail that fans out during flight.Size: Their wingspan measures about 1.5 to 2.5 inches, making them smaller than actual hummingbirds.Behavior: Unlike most moths, they fly during the day. They hover in midair and use a long, straw-like tongue called a proboscis to drink nectar from flowers.

The saying below is nice, but with these temperatures, I will have to disagree with the relaxing part. 🤪 Keep in mind, Pansies are cool weather plants, they do not like hot days.
I am looking forward to cooler days. I keep watching long range weather reports. We still have days next week to be in the 90’s!!!

Muehlenbeckia platyclada or Centipede plant. This is going to be one of my projects soon. I have never tried to propagate it, but I don’t think it will be difficult, (I hope.) It will be a good houseplant. Are any of you growing it now? Share your experience with us, please.

There are some things I just can’t do. Today, I could not welcome September with a fall theme when it is supposed to be 96 today and 98 degrees by Friday.
I had to make a quick stop on my way home from the greenhouse the other day and one person who saw me said, “I don’t have to ask where you just left.” I am glad my t-shirt wasn’t soaking wet that day and totally filthy as it was the day before!!😅.
We are working hard to get ready for our Fall opening. It will not be long.

I have got to take more photos. It sees like my hands are full or so dirty I don’t want to touch my phone. Yes, I take my gloves off and forget to put them back on. We do appreciate the rain. I am not sure how much we got last night, but at the greenhouse the other night we received three and a half inches. That was wonderful!!!
