Now in its 23rd year, the Larchmont Arts Festival returns to Constitution Park on Saturday, October 17th, noon until 5pm. This year's Featured Artist is janetlangsam who will speak at Atelier Modern on Friday, October 9th at 11am. Both events are free and open to the public!

Langsam spent 33 years as CEO of ArtsWestchester, New York's largest private nonprofit cultural service organization, before retiring in 2024. Before three decades of arts leadership, Langsam trained as a painter in 1960s Greenwich Village under Leo Manso and Gregorio Prestopino, and her recent exhibition Improbable Feminist at the Neuberger Museum of Art brought that early work back into public view. She'll talk about the arc from artist to advocate and back to artist again. This is a rare chance to hear directly from someone who shaped Westchester's cultural landscape for a generation.
