That being said, I’ve received a few messages today that inspired me to ask an important question. ❤️

I understand that times are tough. Many families are struggling financially, and I’m no exception. As an educator, my pay has been reduced and my insurance has increased. I know what it’s like to have to be mindful of every dollar, and I genuinely understand the need to find ways to save.

Today, a few messages asked about DISCOUNTS on orders, and I want to share my perspective.

I’m always willing to work with you on price when I can. But let me ask you this… which part of my work would you like me to cut out?

The time spent designing? The materials I purchase? The hours spent creating, assembling, and perfecting your order? The attention to detail that goes into making sure you receive something made with care? My free delivery?

As a small business owner, I put more into every order than what you see on the surface. There are materials, time, creativity, experience, and countless little details that all contribute to the finished product.

I believe in being fair to my customers, but I also believe in valuing my own work. ❤️ Supporting a small business means understanding that behind every finished product is a person investing their time, resources, and heart into what they create.

I will always appreciate your support, your orders, and even your questions. And when your budget doesn't allow for something right now, that's okay, too. I'd rather you wait until the time is right than expect either of us to undervalue what goes into the process.

Let's continue to support one another, respect each other's craft, and remember that handmade and custom work is worth more than just the costly materials used to make it. ✨

After leaving a client’s home I decided to check out a particular new place in town. Funny thing is today’s assignment was to teach my client the art of minimalism.

This place is so beautiful and has a great vibe.

I ran to my favorite sections but oh boy! I didn’t expect to cross paths with this particular one. I’m in love! Headed back in a few days because why not?

Today is small business Saturday, and I simply want to say THANK YOU for being an awesome crowd that brightens my days in many ways.

You support my community drives and their purpose. You send me a plethora of motivational videos and posts. You recommend me to others, but most importantly, you all are the most incredibly patient and understanding individuals in the world! I don’t know what I would do if it were any different. When our schedules clash and meeting or delivering becomes a challenge, you all remain positive and help me find a solution. For that and more, I’m grateful. ☺️

🐝BEES & DANDELIONS, A LITTLE REMINDER OF GOD’S DESIGN 🌼

Have you ever looked at a dandelion and thought, “That’s just a w**d”?

Maybe we should look a little closer.

That little yellow flower is an important source of nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinators, particularly when fewer plants are blooming. And the bees? They do far more than make honey. As they move from flower to flower, they help pollinate plants that produce fruits, vegetables, seeds, and support ecosystems around us. 🌱

While bees helps carry life from one flower to another, both provide nourishment and play a role in something much bigger than themselves.

But there's another fascinating part of the story.

For generations, dandelions have also been valued as food and used in traditional herbal practices. Their leaves and roots have been used in traditional preparations for digestive and general wellness purposes. Modern science continues to study the plant and its compounds, and some cultures have found it to cure or treat certain ailments.

Isn’t creation amazing?

🌼 The dandelion has a purpose.
🐝 The bee has a purpose.

Dandelions help keep bees alive, and in return the bees help keep us alive.

What we sometimes dismiss as a w**d can provide nourishment to a pollinator. What may seem like a tiny creature buzzing around a flower can play an enormous role in the world around us.

That's what makes God's creation so incredibly beautiful.

God didn't create everything to function alone. He created an interconnected world where flowers, insects, plants, animals, and people all play a part.

And perhaps there's a lesson for us in that, too:

Everything doesn't have to look important to have a purpose.

Sometimes the things we overlook are doing some of the most important work.

So before we rush to remove every dandelion, maybe we can pause and appreciate what God created and remember that there is often more to His creation than meets the eye. 🌼🐝💛

"How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures." — Psalm 104:24

Creation has a purpose. Creation works together. And creation points us back to the wisdom of its Creator.🙏🌎

I received more notebooks, and this little fella broke into my office. Ay No! No! No! 🙃

Aside from these,
UNITED HIGHSCHOOL reps never picked up their 100. All other high schools have had their 100 picked up since the start of the year.

A Prayer for Our Community 🤍
Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. 😓

Heavenly Father, we lift up the families who are grieving the tragic loss of loved ones through the recent vehicle accidents and the devastating house fires.

Wrap Your arms around them and give them strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. Remind them that they are not alone. Our community mourns with them, prays with them, and stands beside them.

Bring healing to broken hearts and provide for every family facing loss and uncertainty.

Bring peace where there is devastation.
Bring hope where there is despair.
Bring provision where there is need.
Bring healing where there is heartbreak.

And Lord, remind our entire community that in times like these, we are stronger when we stand together. Help us not only to say, “We’re praying for you,” but to become the hands and
feet that show up, help, give, listen, and love.

May every grieving family feel surrounded, not just by sorrow, but by the love of a community that refuses to let them grieve alone.

In Jesus’s mighty name we pray.
