When we lose someone, we become the keeper of their stories. We become the guardian of beautiful memories. And we become the recipient of their legacies of love. Because grief may change the way we can express love, but it never takes away or diminishes that love. Love is powerful and persistent and forever.
And each day, we carry the love of those we lost in our hearts. We carry their stories. We overflow that love into the hearts around us. We let it inform our own stories and the next chapters we create.
Because their love is part of our story. And our love will be a part of someone else’s story, and on and on forever. May we cherish and build upon these love stories and never lose sight of how much each one matters. It all matters. 💙
