It’s been a very busy few weeks and I’m looking forward to a weekend of nothing but family and puppy time. Might not leave the house at all 🤍

The Monday is Mondaying real hard. Only to be redeemed by the delivery of our Mid-Century Estate project photos. Thanks for making my inbox a little brighter this morning.

A little bit about this project: The brief was to make this home feel like theirs while they wait out a larger restoration project. We used a mix of old and new, vintage and designer, collected and found. We leaned into the upholstered walls (yes, that’s velvet) and the reality of young family life. Some light electrical work (not without its own drama), a touch of paint here and there, along with a whole lot of furniture and art was just enough to get us there. The result is truly a vibe.

We love a challenge, and this one was just that. ✌🏼

We’ve shot three projects so far this year and I’m so excited to share them all soon.

Being invited into people’s lives to create a home for them is something that I don’t take lightly. It’s such an honor and a joy to see them living in these spaces the way we had envisioned 🤍

Client-owned heirloom pieces are my favorite. Especially when we get to update them with amazing textiles. I’m in love with how this Adrian Pearsall tub chair turned out 🤍

New work, years in the making. (This will be our theme for the year 💫)

This project began as an call in January 2024 and grew into a full renovation and furnishings project. Our clients moved back in just weeks ago (with their brand new baby girl), and seeing the home finally lived in and loved is what makes the long road so worth it.

Last year, we photographed just one project — a difficult thing for a designer, even when so much work is happening behind the scenes. This year we have five already on the calendar. Our projects take time: months of design, coordination, revisions, bids, permits and then construction. It’s a long process, but one that allows each home to feel thoughtful, personal, and lasting.

More to share soon. 🤍
