This Moroccan-inspired arch detail with Art Glass is in progress! There will be small round rondels, pastel colors that will create prisms from the sunlight throughout the day in this ADU. We are also going to uplight them for an evening glow! Such a beautiful project. The architecture for this ADU is Spanish Revival with Moroccan accents. See my reel.

Designing a room inspired by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) pulling from the unexpected - elevating the artist in me!

Just one of the many highlights of this current, most beautiful project - my creative client has entrusted me to design. This is one bedroom that romanticizes the artwork by John Singer Sargent, an impressionist painter back in the late 1900's who was inspired by his trip to Morocco to paint this piece "Smoke of Ambergris". My task is to design a bedroom from this artwork my client was inspired from in a museum with texture and restraint. So grateful for the opportunity. Every part of this project has been customized with this kind of mindfulness and allows me to explore and design outside barriers and think like a fine artist.

The Olympics hit different when you’ve lived the dream that didn’t quite happen as a competitive figure skater..
5am practices. Endless falls. Getting back up every single time. dedication, and dreams.

I look at these skaters - especially the ones who don’t medal - and I see myself. The competitor who poured everything into something and didn’t get the recognition.

It took me years to understand: The media creates this narrative that you need to be publicly celebrated to be worthy. That, without the podium, the publication, the applause, you somehow fall short.

But that’s not the truth.

The real lesson? Our worth is never conditional . It never was. So, I'm applauding everyone that made it on the ice and performed their best. What winners...all of them!

You enter—where floating lanterns flicker above and light tells a story. A glowing bar, where her eyes find you rendered in newsprint telling stories of Thai culture. This restaurant is a culture in motion- present meets past that feels cinematic.

It was a pleasure telling the Chef’s story through design. The cuisine is so creative and sooo delicious! in Las Vegas. Designed
