Golden Barite
📌 Meikle Mine - Elko, Nevada

Nearly 1,000 feet beneath Nevada’s Carlin Trend, miners encountered pockets filled with incredibly gemmy golden barite like this. The Meikle Mine became famous in the 1990s for producing exceptionally transparent, glassy yellow-to-honey crystals-some of the finest barite specimens ever found in the United States.

The classic specimen-producing pockets were temporary discoveries exposed during active gold mining, and there is no regular new supply today. These glittering golden beauties are now considered modern American mineral classics.

And THAT LUSTER 🤤

Red Fox Agate is a striking and highly recognizable agate from Patagonia, Argentina, known for its rich palette of rusty reds, burnt orange, cream, gray, and blue-gray chalcedony. Iron oxides give the material its signature warm coloration, often appearing alongside beautifully contrasting layers and pockets of translucent chalcedony. One of its most distinctive features is its wonderfully organic patterning—botryoidal growths, flowing bands, fortification-like structures, and abstract formations can create tiny landscapes and scenes within the stone.

What makes Red Fox Agate especially fun for collectors is just how much personality each piece has. No two are quite alike, and the combination of fiery iron-rich colors with cooler chalcedony makes even small specimens visually complex. Formed through repeated deposition of silica-rich fluids within cavities in ancient volcanic rock, these pieces are essentially little records of Patagonia’s geological history—layer by layer, mineral by mineral. It’s the kind of agate you can turn over a dozen times and still find something new to look at.

These are priced at 380 and under! Feel free to DM about specific pieces ❤️
