Cowboy Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
• ½ stick of butter (about 4 tablespoons)
• 1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
• 1–2 teaspoons Cowboy Butter seasoning
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
• Juice of ½ a lemon
Instructions:
1. Melt butter in a small pan over low to medium heat. Don’t rush it; you don’t want it to burn.
2. Add chili flakes, Cowboy Butter seasoning, and brown sugar. Stir gently to combine.
3. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and stir again.
4. Taste and adjust: if you want it sweeter, add a little more brown sugar; if you want it tangier, add more lemon.
5. Pour over your choice of protein: fish, pork, chicken, or even over rice or vegetables.
Tips:
• Keep the heat low—this sauce burns easily because of the sugar.
• You can add minced garlic or fresh herbs if you want extra flavor.
• Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
