ASC Month may be ending, but the conversation continues.

We’ve spent August sharing a few of the ideas that go into designing a successful ASC.

HHA Principal Maggie MulCahy, RA has designed surgery centers across multiple specialties and helped develop ASC standards for a national healthcare system, so there’s a lot more she can talk about when it comes to ASC design.

The second annual HHA Golf Tournament is in the books!

And the winner is… Maggie!
This round of HHA Iron Chef came with a challenge: Vegan Edition.

And everyone delivered! We had bruschetta pasta, three-bean salad, fruit salsa, vegan peach cobbler, brownies and plenty more to taste.

But there can only be one Iron Chef…

A big thank you to our summer interns, Sophia Emerle and Jocelyn Behan, for being part of the HHA team!

Summer Highlights

Jocelyn
• One favorite experience was working on detailed markups and drawing updates for a local orthopedic project
• Gained experience with early schematic drawings for proposal projects
• Heads back to school with stronger Revit skills and a new perspective on design and documentation

Sophia
• One favorite experience was visiting a hospital project under construction and seeing firsthand how architects, clients and contractors work together
• Gained experience with life safety and demolition plans
• Heads back to school with new architectural terminology and software knowledge

We enjoyed having you both with us this summer. Best of luck as you head back to school!
