This is why we never get tired of quilts…. Thousands of quilts later, and we’re still regularly pulling one out of a pile and saying, “Well, we’ve never seen THAT before.”

Stars. Curves. Tiny pieces. Giant pieces. Wild color combinations. Perfectly planned. Completely unpredictable.

There are only so many ways to cut up a piece of fabric… and yet generations of makers kept finding a way to make something entirely their own… and old quilts might be some of the best proof of that.

Turns out, laundry day looks a little different when you deal in old quilts. ☀️

Three quilts, a clothesline, late-summer sun—and for a minute the backyard looked like something pulled straight from an old photograph.

We spend a lot of time looking at quilts, but we’re still not over this part.

Summer was good to us. We slowed down, went places, spent time with our people… and gave ourselves permission to step away for a bit.

But there’s something about coming back to stacks of old quilts and pretty old fabric that feels a whole lot like home. 🤍

Our first restock after summer break is coming Thursday, August 27 at 7pm CST.

It feels good to be back. 🧵

Basically… if it’s old, useful, colorful, beautifully worn or just plain cool, there’s a good chance we brought it to the booth. 😂 It is FULL of the good stuff right now.
