We have been truly blessed by God to be able to pursue Clairmont Designs. We always dreamed of starting our own business and are so thankful for God allowing us the opportunity to do so. We are also grateful to our parents for supporting us and helping us throughout this journey. Starting a business has definitely been a learning experience for both of us. DeShawn has had to learn how to use power

tools, which was quite scary at first. And I (Stephen) have had to learn to paint frames and other things like a regular Bob Ross. :) Clairmont Designs has continued to grow beyond anything we could have imagined and we can not wait to see what God has in store for us. Thank you for helping us keep our dream alive.

Our Story

In 2009, Clairmont and Co was established with a passion for making things and joy of connecting with people. Stephen and Deshawn were always entrepreneurs at heart. While finishing their educations at Mississippi State University, they started making and selling handmade signs at local artisan fairs. Unexpectedly, the business quickly became their passion. They had a vision of what Clairmont and Co is becoming today.

The vision was beyond just “things” to buy, it was about connection. The key was building a manufacturing channel to put things into this world that make a difference. They knew very little about running a business, but they were eager to know more. As they grew, they learned. If they didn’t know, they asked. If they doubted, they prayed. If they wanted to give up, they prayed more! God has always been faithful and has provided ways for them to continue to grow. At Clairmont and Co, we believe in filling the world with amazing things that make people feel joy and love. All our products are handcrafted in our warehouse in Downtown Laurel, MS. Every item that leaves our door is uniquely made with love, and every piece has a story to share.

Through our business, we hope to remind people that success is not measured with titles, labels, or “likes” but rather how we influence the world for good around us – big or small!
