We're soooo excited!!

The museum will be closed tomorrow - Thursday as we complete construction and painting work. We anticipate reopening on Friday. We apologize for the short notice and appreciate your patience as we prepare for our exciting new exhibits. We can't wait for everyone to see the finished result!

Join us in Downtown Laurens June 12–14, 2026 for the Laurens Juneteenth Weekend Celebration! 🎉

Friday – Kick off the weekend with the Talent Show at 7 PM at The Capitol Theatre. 🎤

Saturday – Start the day with the Youth Summit Breakfast from 9 AM–1 PM at the Laurens County Museum Magnolia Room, followed by a free showing of Sarah’s Oil at 2 PM at The Capitol Theatre. Then enjoy the Juneteenth Parade at 5 PM and the Downtown Celebration from 6–10 PM on the Historic Laurens Square featuring live music by Xperience Soul, food trucks, vendors, dancing, kid zone activities, and more! 🎈

Sunday – Join us for the Juneteenth Commemoration Service & Celebration at 11 AM at St. Paul Baptist Church as we close out the weekend together.

We look forward to celebrating with the community all weekend long! ❤️
