ā€œWhat makes you happy?ā€

We would say itā€™s finding wonder in the forgotten šŸ’ššŸ’™

Itā€™s discovering that ordinary-looking glass can glow like this and proceed to learn the history of its creation and craftsmanship. Personally, I find that often to be the biggest thrill. What stories do these things around us carry?

TheseĀ Ā treasures here some of our new arrivals and are vintage uranium glassware. Theyā€™re made with small amounts of uranium oxide causingĀ Ā them to fluoresce under the ultraviolet light.

Most people recognize the more common green glow, but most donā€™t realize that uranium glass was also produced in other colors tooā€¦ like blue, amber, and yellow.

Part history,Ā Ā science, andĀ Ā treasure hunt, these pieces have attracted collectors for generations.

And to be honest, we get it? Watching them glow never gets old.Ā / Bry
