Overbrook Farmers Market was the first market I began my business 6 years ago. After the first years people asked for Tamales, I worked on establishing a Commercial Kitchen with the corresponding license and got to produce all my products. Since then I have produced more than 33,000 Tamales.
This Memorial Day Monday I will be at the Overbrook Farmers Market to offer you all my products.

This coming weekend marks the beginning season for many local Farmers Markets. I am excited to be part of several markets and to offer my products to many customers that come back every year to shop with me.
My schedule for this weekend begins as follows:
Thursday April 30th - Cottin's Hardware Farmers Market in downtown Lawrence. 4-6:30 pm
Friday May 1st- Perry Lecompton Farmers' Market new location “Thriftway Parking Lot” 4-6:30 pm
Saturday May 2nd - Bonner Springs Farmers' Market. 8 am - 12 noon.
Tuesday “5 de Mayo” Eudora Farmers Market. 5:30-8 pm.
-Always freshly made Frozen Tamales.

Tez Bakes & Makes LLC is a home business that I started in 2020 when I moved to Lawrence from California.
The name TEZ comes from the place where I was born: Teziutlan Puebla, Mexico. I am a Teziuteca with 51% native blood and 49% European. But! I am also a proud US Citizen. As a Teziuteca and Poblana one of my favorite dishes is Mole Poblano. Since some people have asked me if I make it I merged into finding a traditional recipe and I hope it will be to your liking. I have all the ingredients ready, I am just waiting for a food mill machine to give it the final texture. By next week it will be available at the two markets I am part of.
Thursdays at Cottin's Hardware Farmers Market in downtown Lawrence from 4-6:30 pm
Saturdays at Basehor Farmer & Craft Market from 9 am to 3 pm.
