Established in 1971 by Susan Bateman, and still owned today by Susan and her husband Jim, the store has nine employees that assist our customers in the store, take orders and answer questions on the phone and internet, and who are all either knitters, weavers, spinners, or all of the above. The Yarn Barn of Kansas also supplies crafters all over the country with products from the website and catalog.

Our cinnamon toast towels are the perfect project for your next brunch party 🥂 They are woven using 16/2 cotton and 16/2 linen in an 8 harness crackle weave pattern. The kit makes three unique towels by using different treadling for each one!
