The Yarn Barn of Kansas has been supplying Knitters, Weavers, Spinners, and all fiber crafters and artists with yarn, patterns, equipment, and accessories since 1971. Located in downtown Lawrence Kansas, the Yarn Barn truly is your "local yarn store" with an experienced staff to answer all your questions about yarn, technique, and patterns. Established in 1971 by Susan Bateman, and still owned today by Susan and her husband Jim, the store has nine employees that assist our customers in the store, take orders and answer questions on the phone and internet, and who are all either knitters, weavers, spinners, or all of the above. The Yarn Barn of Kansas also supplies crafters all over the country with products from the website and catalog.

We will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day! Normal store hours on Sunday (1-4) and Tuesday (10-5). 🐑🥳🐑
