Removing decades pink to fresh and green. Even with the black cabinets it looks and feels much brighter and open. While not finished with its chef kiss seal of approval, it’s on its way…

Kitchen update! Base perimeter cabinets have been painted, cabinets are full of dishes, and dish towels and spices and pots and pans, my grandma’s cake stand is on the island, things have been placed on the countertops for easy use. While it’s still not 💯 finished with its final chef kiss perfection, the kitchen is feeling much more welcoming today. I have to say, it’s come a long way from the pink 1950/60s kitchen complete with its own guillotine window.

Woohoo!! Finally moving in! Yippee!!! It’s been a long few months. I packed that first Pod back in November. November!! That’s feels like a lifetime ago. The second one in January, even January feels longer than 6 months ago. This time I said nope. I would be hiring movers. Well, my exhaustion and pinched nerve in my back said you are hiring movers to unpack it all. Thankful to my neighbors for letting me borrow their parking lot once again. That’s that for now…. I am officially moved into this grand ole lady of a house. Praise be!!
