When it comes to decorating my vintage Christmas tree, I use WWII Christmas cards. My father was in the war and I use them memory of him. During the 40s, people would use Xmas cards in their trees. They were called friendship trees.

The Christmas lamps are Reliance Decorative Lighting from ca1928. They are C9 swirl lamps designed for interior and exterior lighting. Wonderful sealed cloth cords and still work beautifully.
