Your bedroom should feel different from the rest of the home.

Calmer.
Softer.
More restorative.

One of my favorite ways to create that feeling is by layering:
✨ soft neutrals
✨ warm woods
✨ subtle texture
✨ calming accent colors
✨ soft lighting

Bedrooms don’t need to be overly designed to feel luxurious.
They just need to feel intentional and peaceful.

MedSpa...from concept to reality. ✨

One of the most valuable parts of my design process is helping clients VISUALIZE what’s possible before major decisions are made.

This rendering was created during the planning phase for a treatment suite makeover, helping us map out:
✔️ furniture placement
✔️ color palette
✔️ textures + mood
✔️ lighting direction
✔️ overall flow of the space

While renderings are incredibly helpful, the real magic happens when the vision comes to life in a way that feels both beautiful AND functional for everyday use.
The final space blends feminine warmth, moody sophistication, and practicality — creating an elevated experience for both the client and their guests.
Design is never just about making a space look pretty.

It’s about creating a feeling the moment someone walks into the room.
One of the most valuable parts of my design process is helping clients VISUALIZE what’s possible before making major decisions.

Sometimes great design isn’t about adding more…

It’s about correcting what your eye has been subconsciously noticing all along.

In this living room, the homeowner struggled with the windows flanking the fireplace wall. Although they were technically symmetrical in size, they were positioned differently within each section of the wall — causing the eye to constantly drift away from the true focal point: the fireplace.🔥

The solution wasn’t construction.
It was visual balance.

By installing oversized artwork on both sides, we:
✔️ redirected the eye upward
✔️ softened the distraction of the window placement
✔️ created stronger symmetry
✔️ made the ceilings feel taller
✔️ gave the fireplace wall the presence it deserved

We also discovered during installation that natural light was filtering directly through the canvas artwork, which became distracting once the pieces were mounted. To solve that issue, we blacked out the windows behind the artwork so the focus stayed on the design itself rather than light shining through the canvases.

One of the biggest misconceptions about interior design is that it’s only about decoration…

But often, it’s actually about solving visual problems in a way that changes how a space feels the moment you walk in.

And yes… there was definitely ladder climbing involved. 😅

Here are some behind-the-scenes moments from installation day. ✨

Monday means it’s back to work—and this kitchen renovation is officially underway! 🔨✨

After months of planning, selections, layouts, and preparation, it’s always exciting to see the transformation begin. The demo dust, construction noise, and daily progress are all part of bringing a client’s vision to life.

The smallest details are often the ones that make a home feel the most intentional.

Hardware.
Lighting.
Faucets.
Cabinet pulls.
Finish selections.

These are the pieces people may not immediately notice individually…
but they absolutely feel the difference when everything works together.

One thoughtfully selected finish can elevate an entire room.

It’s never “just a faucet.” ✨

Not every space needs to be filled.

Some of the most calming interiors are the ones that allow room to breathe.

A quiet reading corner.
Natural light.
Simple materials.
Clean lines.

Good design isn’t always about adding more layers…
Sometimes it’s about knowing when to stop.

One of the biggest mistakes homeowners make during renovations?

Making selections one at a time instead of seeing the FULL picture together.

Paint may look beautiful on its own.
So might the flooring.
And the countertops.
And the fabric.

But good design happens when everything works together cohesively.

This is why creating a full color palette before purchasing materials matters so much — it prevents expensive mistakes and creates flow throughout the home.

Design is rarely about one beautiful item.
It’s about how every piece connects.

One of my favorite things about traveling is how much inspiration comes from experiencing the way people live in different places. ✨

Spending time on the island always reminds me that outdoor spaces should feel like a natural extension of the home — relaxed, intentional, and connected to everyday living.

The most beautiful outdoor areas aren’t necessarily the largest…
They’re the ones that create a feeling the moment you step outside.

Think:
✔️ comfortable seating
✔️ layered lighting
✔️ lush greenery
✔️ natural texture
✔️ shaded lounging areas
✔️ spaces designed for slowing down

Whether it’s a boutique hotel, a tucked-away Airbnb, or a thoughtfully designed backyard, I’m always paying attention to the details that make a space feel like a retreat.

And honestly? Some of the best design inspiration comes from simply stepping away from your everyday surroundings for a little while.

Powder bathrooms are one of my favorite places to take design risks. ✨

Because they’re smaller spaces, they can handle:
✔️ moodier colors
✔️ dramatic lighting
✔️ bold contrast
✔️ richer textures

This space proves you don’t need a massive footprint to create impact.

The black walls paired with warm wood tones and soft lighting make this bathroom feel modern, elevated, and unexpectedly cozy all at the same time.

Sometimes the smallest rooms in a home become the most memorable.

A home starts feeling elevated the moment it stops looking “off the shelf.”

One of the easiest ways to create a more custom feel in your home is through contrast:
✔️ soft + structured
✔️ warm + dark
✔️ natural wood + metal
✔️ texture + clean lines

In this space, the richness of the berry-toned chairs completely transforms what could have been just another dining area into a statement moment.

The best interiors usually aren’t about adding MORE…
They’re about adding intention.
