Helpful pro tip: test products at each stage prior to starting the next phase! Let me explain:

At every stage, we check for issues. Prior to moving on. We just sprayed primer. We want to check adhesion prior to poppin some color on top.

Being in business for over 12 years means we’ve experienced so many issues and probably the same issue even in different forms.

One thing we always check is paint adhesion of the primer on the doors and trim. With the wrong primer or the wrong paint, a brand new paint job can scratch off with just a fingernail swipe.

Any trim/doors previously stained with an oil base lacquer needs a primer that’s non water based. We like extreme bond primer from Sherwin-Williams for lacquer cover-ups like this.

Redoing an old stone path and putting back a sidewalk. We pulled some really BIG rocks out of the ground then moved them. Added the retaining wall for garden bed, redoing the steps, and pouring new concrete at the end of the driveway after removing all the asphalt... you know what they say "if you don't go with concrete then its your own damn asphalt". Happy Monday!

Freshening up this patio with some new paint! A good power wash and paint/sealer really brought it back to life!

Last couple weeks we been playing with link n logs. We sided and did all the exterior trim and finishes on this log home. Stain, caulking, trim, windows, etc. We even stack logs too!

Redone this deck recently! All new cedar rails and post. New decking and stairs done as well. Enjoyed doing this project.

Floated out this pad and added some rails today. Patched some sub floor as well then other day before starting our siding gig!

Hardie board siding on this whole house. Redoing the back covered area. Had a new contractor approach us about fixing some things someone else started and then finishing up the project. We are always glad to show off our skills here at Budget 2 Beautiful Designs. Keep a look out for progress on this fun project and easily add another client to our books.
