Today I did a thing…I retired from Robin’s Nest Antiques. This is my first and last dollar made in the business! I may do a few appointments over the next 4 weeks and I will absolutely take care of all of my Consigners. It feels good but bittersweet. I will vacate the premises by 30 June. Thank you to all who have made these last 7 years a blast!

One more day, says Küssen. I’ll be staying home again tomorrow. I have no energy, still coughing, fairly weak. I’ll fix my treats for Sip n Shop next week and serve them on Saturday the 13th. Bronchitis is no fun and I appreciate your understanding.

Küssen is helping me apologize that I’m still unable to work in the shop. I pray I’m well enough for Sip n Shop tomorrow but I can’t promise anything. I’ve always been to one to tell others to stay home when they are sick but rarely followed my own advice. This time I’m trying to be patient and be a good patient. Thank you for understanding.

Küssen is wondering if I’m ever going to feel better. I am a bit better but despite pamper myself with rest and fluids for nearly a week, I still have this nasty bronchitic cough, decreased appetite and low energy. So once again Robin’s Nest will be closed today. I’ll try to be in the shop by Saturday, April 6 but I’m not promising anything. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Küssen told me to stay home from the shop today because I have cold with a cough and I’m losing my voice. In an effort to be able to attend Easter worship tomorrow I’m taking his advise. Robin’s Nest will not open today, 30 March . I should be fine to work my scheduled days next week.

Küssen wants me to tell you about my updated dates and times Robin’s Nest Antiques will be closed. Thursday April 11 closed all day. Thursday April 18-20 closed all day. Thursday April 25 closed all day. Friday May 10 open 1:00-4:00. Friday May 24 open 1:00-4:00. Saturday May 25 last day in business. Küssen just told me the hills in to Lebanon are nearly impassible due to the snow. There are cars sliding back down the hills and it is quite dangerous. Consequently we have closed the shop and are going home to get all nesty at home. You can always shop Robin’s Nest Antiques on a less winters day. Please stay safe and warm.
