Day 1 of 40.
Draw the Circle by Mark Batterson has been part of our lives for several years. We have returned to it more than once, but we have never completed the full 40-day prayer challenge from beginning to end.
This time feels different.
For the next 40 days, we are intentionally circling Hometown Comfort Station in prayer.
We are praying for wisdom, direction, provision, our family, our customers, the people who have not yet walked through our doors, and the ways we are meant to serve this community. Most of all, we are asking God to make clear what He has for this business that we’ve poured so much of ourselves into.
Owning a small business can stretch your faith in ways you may not fully understand when you first open the doors. Over the years, we have experienced seasons of growth, uncertainty, gratitude, challenge, and plenty of lessons along the way.
In this season, we are choosing to bring it all to God first. After all, He led us here in the first place.
We will also be journaling throughout these 40 days so that we can look back and remember what we prayed for, what we learned, and what unfolded along the way.
