Hi! I’m still here!!!! Sorry I’ve been a little quiet for a while, but I’m still here creating and getting ready for THIS SATURDAY’s Spring Bling right here in Leesburg at Ida Lee!

This year I am located in the fitness/aerobics room so please come by and say hi! I will have some limited items that are new including some of the pictured pressed flower designs. Come at the start of the show and get them while they last!

Hi! I unfortunately won’t be able to attend this event tomorrow! I’ve been under the weather since Tuesday and haven’t improved, so have decided to sit this one out to get needed rest.

My remaining seasonal earrings, ornaments, and more trinket dishes have just been dropped off at Handmade by LMAC - Local Makers, Artists and Crafters at One Loudoun today, so please check it out!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to Sixth Annual Dirt Farm Christmas Market! It was an amazing day from start to finish! Packed up about 30 minutes early because of the snow that accumulated super fast. It was beautiful though and we even lingered a bit to enjoy a brew around the fire pit with the view!

THIS weekend is Leesburg’s Fine Arts and Crafts Show at Ida Lee Rec. Center. Saturday 9-4 and Sunday 10-4. You will be able to find me in the gym!(check out the video in the comments! ❄️)

This is one of my favorite markets! The people at PLC are amazing and I love getting to see my vendors friends year after year! Please come by this evening if the morning hours don’t work for you.

Next week is Artisan Market & Studio's Holiday Shopping Village and Festival of Trees that will be located at The Barn At Brambleton! 🎄🎁

This event supports Loudoun's First Responders as well as local crafters, artisans, and makers like myself! The barn will be beautifully decorated for the holidays including many decorated trees. So come and pay us a visit and sip some hot chocolate or hot apple cider with doing checking out the decor, listening to the carolers, and getting some holiday shopping done!

I've been working hard to get new product ready for you including seasonal earrings and ornaments and more! Let's get into the holiday spirit! See you there!

🎉Happy Birthday to us! 🎉

Three years ago today, we received notification that The Joyful Penguin was an official LLC! 🎈This has been a fun and wild journey with ups and downs and a lot of lessons! I have met, and continue to meet some of the nicest people, and I love being part of this community of creators and small business owners.

Thank you to my friends and family for your continued support. Thank you to the wonderful store owners and market and event coordinators who have become friends. And a big thank you to all of my customers new and regular! I appreciate all of you and could not have gotten this far without you. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

I will be posting some Fall and Halloween earrings later today for 15% off OR free shipping/delivery (whichever is better for you). I am busy making more trinket dishes and ornaments to get ready for the upcoming markets. Be sure to come to my events to get the latest creations!
