🎶🎶 You’ve got style, that’s what all the girls say 🎶🎶
“Dress You Up”
Madonna
When a room starts coming together, it’s a beautiful day. First up was paint and then these lovely draperies in Fabricut fabric, Bloom Season, color: Baby’s Breath. Rug and furniture are on the way.
I encourage you to listen to the full song on your favorite listening platform.

What an incredible 2 days in NYC! First a breakfast followed by a panel discussion about lighting design for artwork. Thank you and ! Then early access to where, among fine works of art, I discovered the beauty of rotting fruit - made with seashells, semi-precious stones, glass beads and the hood of a Volkswagen Beetle. Tuesday took me to the NY Center at 200 Lex for their Design Day where I visited some of my favorite showrooms including , and . Wonderfully inspirational!

Beautiful site visit to this gorgeous coastal home in the making. Love working with the Stone Built team. Lucky to take a quick field trip across the street to Airlie Gardens.

I love surprises and this was a big one, or rather a very little one! Roman Cruise Eagleson came into the world 8 weeks early. By a strange twist of fate, his father was on a business call but I was present at his birth. I might add Traveling Midwife to my resume. Mommy, my daughter, was a rockstar and was later described to me by a nurse as “a real badass”. I couldn’t agree more. After 6 weeks in the NICU, Roman finally came home. We are all in love with this little boy. 💙

Some people dress to impress. Apparently I dress to match the hotel lobby. I would have really nailed the dismount if I had the green Sneex.

My peaceful sitting room this morning. That chair is just begging me to sit, wait, start the day a little later. Come to think of it the rug is too. The little chaise was my great grandmother’s. I read there every morning. The faded pink pillow is still covered in the original chaise fabric- it must be over 100 years old. Take care of the old things. They seem to love you back ❤️
